  • A very tongue-in-cheek article by music magazine NME said that The Kooks wrote the song about a friend of theirs that can move by walking on her hands. It is also thought that this song is about Katie Melua, the lead singer's former girlfriend.
  • The song has been parodied in the song "The Kooks are Kooky" by Exactly Midnight.
