"She" is a song by Green Day taken from the album Dookie.

The song talks about a girl trying to find out who she really is. She wants to be herself but her parents and society won't let her be that person.

The inspiration for the song was a poem given to Billie Joe Armstrong by an ex-girlfriend. The girl and Armstrong were involved in a relationship that neither believed they were seriously committed to. The girl, whose name is unknown, had emotional problems, with issues such as low self-esteem and a feeling that she had to be subordinate to someone else in order to be successful in life. Armstrong wrote the song based on a poem expressing these insecurities.

This song can also be found on International Superhits!, the band's compilation CD of their singles (up until Warning:, released in 2000).
