She's Electric is a song from Oasis' 1995 award-winning album (What's The Story) Morning Glory? (see 1995 in music). The song is in true Britpop style, talking about a relationship with a woman who has an eccentric family. The song contains guitar parts reminiscent of the 1960s.

The lyrics of the song are quite light-hearted and delivered in a sarcastic manner by lead singer Liam Gallagher.

"She's got a cousin
In fact she's got 'bout a dozen
She's got one in the oven
But it's nothing to do with me"

The songs coda is very similar to that of "With a Little Help From My Friends" by The Beatles, ending in a vocal harmony concluding on the root note. The band are known to be influenced by the Beatles. The "Coz I'll be you and you'll be me/There's lots and lots for us to see/There's lots and lots for us to do" section also bears a marked resemblance to the theme tune of the British childrens' show You and Me, which Gallagher has admitted to being a fan of in his childhood.

[edit] Trivia

  • The song is in E major and in 4/4 time.
  • The song is only one of four on the album to not be released as a single in any country in any form (not including the two "Swamp Song" interludes), however it did get radio play.
  • The first four chords (E, G#, C#, A) are identical to the first four chords of "Married with Children".
