[edit] Want to join a new WikiProject?

You seem to be in the know of Internet culture, particularly YTMND. I was wondering if you'd like to join my new WikiProject, WikiProject Internet pop culture. It'd be great if you joined, as it'd help unite the people who are interested in Internet culture. So, what do you say? MessedRocker 03:31, August 20, 2005 (UTC)

Would love to. ShadowMan1od 05:16, 20 August 2005 (UTC)

Well then, can you add yourself to the list on Wikipedia:WikiProject Internet pop culture?

[edit] You gotta get up on the stick!

Hey ShadowMan1od, I noticed you and MessedRocker had a great idea for a Wikiproject, but I don't really see anything coming out of it. It appears that you are just watching the YTMND page (which I thank you for), against vandals and other losers. Thanks much for keeping track of the YTMND fads, as that constantly gets out of hand, and its good to have someone such as yourself who has a foot in both worlds. Anywho, I'd love to join, but I'm not sure I know that much about internet pop culture, but if you'd like me to help recruit some people for the project, I'd be more than happy to do so. Please keep up the excellent work at YTMND, and if all internet pop culture articles could be as well maintained and vandal protected as that one is, Wikipedia would be a better place. Thanks again, Mysekurity e-mail 01:14, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

I really haven't had the time for the internet in a long time. Next week will be my first free Saturday in two months, so I'll probably be able to do more then. ShadowMan1od 02:15, 11 October 2005 (UTC)
Hehe, I was just joking around. I can see by your contribs that you havn't been here much, but what you have done is appreciated by me (and I hope the community as a whole). Might you wish to recruit someone in your stead (thanks though, by the way.) Ive checked out your YTMNDs, and I find them rather funny. Good job with that :) -Mysekurity e-mail 02:17, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:WikiProject Internet pop culture

I've never found time for being involved with the project, and I never felt that the project was that active. I decided to visit it, and noticed that it's been going along a lot better than I thought. Since you're probably more involved in it that I am, I've decided to officially withdraw myself from the WikiProject, and leave my director position to you. —THIS IS MESSEDImage:R with umlaut.pngOCKER (TALK) 21:29, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

Eep! I'll see what I can do. ShadowMan1od 23:18, 14 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Lighthouse: The Dark Being

Hi, sorry to bother you but the cover art photo you supplied for the article Lighthouse: The Dark Being is not really acceptable because it has logos of another website (MobyGames). It's best to find a photo without any marks on it. Chipmunk01 20:12, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

I replaced it with an unmarked version. ( : Chipmunk01 20:20, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Penumbra

As per AfD policy, I once again deleted Penumbra. If you want to restore it, please see Deletion review. Andre (talk) 19:47, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

Here are your comments since I deleted the talk page:

Although there is no single "notable" source that has an article about this game, it's obvious that this game is significant. Gamespot, a major gaming website, went out of its way to interview the developer about the upcoming episodic game. The game has over 220,417 from its mirror own Download.com (and even got a little "Popular <3" tag). This article was deleted before for only being "a student project", but now that it's a commercial product (and has a profile on various large gaming websites), it's fully reasonable that there can be an article on it. If a big game company putting out a press release with no additional info is enough to make a game "notable", then all of that certainly has to be. ShadowMan1od 18:08, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

The distinction is iffy at best. Bring it to deletion review, as I said. Andre (talk) 22:00, 5 December 2006 (UTC)
