Welcome!
Hello, Shadikka, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome! - UtherSRG (talk) 18:30, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Subst
When using template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. --Cyde↔Weys 17:46, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Your signature
I was wondering if you might please modify your signature so that it isn't so long in Wiki source. Long signatures make it hard to find and respond to comments in edit mode because they tend to overwhelm what people are actually saying. See WP:SIG for more information. Thank you. --Cyde↔Weys 17:47, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
