[edit] Dutch ancestry?

"A south african musician from dutch ancestry". what? can someone please just state who in his family is dutch? did they come to south africa in the last hundred years? I'm from south africa and everybody here is from german or french or dutch or some kind of ancestry - as in their ancestors came here hundreds of years ago. they all refer to themselves as south african, with no reference to their european ancestry.
