I heard that the new album may come out October 25, 2005 - anonymous

Shanice scored 2 top 5 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, so I don't think she is a "one hit wonder" she also scored a top 20 hit in 1999 on the Billboard Hot 100, 3 Top 20 hits in the US doesn't make you a one hit wonder.

[edit] Toni Braxton / Unbreak My Heart

There are two conflicting claims in the main article pertaining to whether Shanice does, or does not, sing the backing vocal on the above song. Someone must know which is correct. Can they correct the main article accordingly, because at the present time it reads badly. For that matter, why does Unbreak My Heart wikilink to an article that claims the song's title is "Un-Break My Heart" ?! Or, is it just me.

That's why I'm here too. --Royalbroil 18:43, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, my copy lists Shanice as doing backing vocals - so can someone please put a source to verify this? And explain why she's listed on there if it's actually Sherre Ford Payne singing.

[edit] Vocal Profile

Couldn't the person who added a vocal profile for Shanice be a little more creative rather than cutting and pasting something that has been on another page for such a long time ago. In any event such gesture is appreciated.....July 18, 2006.

[edit] Whistle Dispute

I have taken the difficulty to research and come up with what I believe is enough evidence to cement Shanice's name on the whistle register list. Anyone who has difficulties accepting this need to produce evidence as to why these sources are unacceptable. (Kudeh) 9/01/2006

[edit] Shanice Five octave Vocal range

I would appreciate if editors of Wikipedia's pages do not go around distorting information. All the independent searches that I have done always credit Shanice to possess a five octave vocal range. I do not care if the last person who edited Shanice's page thinks to him/herself from him/her expertise in vocal range that Shanice possess a four octave range, the information available on the internet says five so unless persons who believe otherwise can come up with independent music reviewers saying four, then I DO NOT THINK persons from their personal opinion should be changing facts...It is shameful that someone would go to such a length to please his/her opinion. For example David Nathan in Shanice's biography written in her Ultimate Collection, credits Shanice for having five octave vocal range. I bought that album twice first in 2000 and second here in 2006 and I do not see where changes have been made in the biography so how can such a person distort a fact...Please bring references to prove your points..Isn't that what is required by Wikipedia? Furthermore, if Debelah Morgan can be credited with five octave then why Shanice can't be said to have that range when clearly Shanice has a stonger voice both while whistling or in her high range and when she is singing her lower register. [edit] Shanice Ward?

I do not know why Shanice Wilson name was changed to Shanice Ward, without any reason given. Well I have changed it back and now request that reason be given as Shanice has been known as Wilson all the years. Kudeh 18:26, 22 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Un-Break My Heart

It can be put to rest now as to whether Shanice actually sang the backgroud on Toni's Un-Break My Heart. AMG confirms this as referenced in article and I could also provide other sources. Sheree Ford-Payne also contributed to the album (Secrets) but Shanice is given the credit for that particular song. Kudeh 02:47, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
