[edit] Fringe show

Actually, the fringe show is not new. Back in 1994, when I was an acting intern, the intern showcase was The Witch, an English drama by Thomas Middleton, one of Shakespeare's contemporaries. I can't remember if there was an intern show in 1992, when I was a stagehand. It wasn't called the "fringe show" at that time, but the concept was the same. However, I don't know if this tradition continued uninterrupted to the present day or not. Still, I'd wager that there have been far more than four fringe shows, whether they were called that or something else. --GentlemanGhost 17:03, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
