Shaun Rawcliffe

Shaun Rawcliffe (1961 - ) is a senior western student of Ip Chun (葉準 or Yip Jun). He teaches in and around the United Kingdom having travelled twice a year to Hong Kong since 1989 to continue his studies [1].

He was instrumental in planning and starting the Ip Chun Wing Chun Kuen Martial Arts Association in Hong Kong with Ip Chun in 1992, and the European Ip Chun Wing Chun Association in 2005.

Shaun started teaching Wing Chun in the United Kingdom in 1982 and has given many seminars around the world, including Hong Kong. Shaun is the author of 'Simply ... Wing Chun Kung Fu', one of the best books written on Wing Chun to date. Shaun gave one of the most memorable, practical and entertaining demonstrations at the 1999 1st World Ving Tsun Conference in Hong Kong.

Shaun is also well known in the close protection industry as have looked after Jackie Chan, Samo Hung and Cynthia Rothrock, as well as many others.
