Sharryn Jackson

Sharryn Maree Jackson (born 12 February 1962), Australian politician, was an Australian Labor Party member of the Australian House of Representatives for one term from November 2001 representing the Division of Hasluck, Western Australia. She lost her seat in the 2004 Federal election in a tight contest with Liberal candidate Stuart Henry.
Jackson was born in Perth, Western Australia, and was educated at the University of Western Australia. She was an officer of the Western Australian Trades and Labor Council and industrial officer and assistant state secretary of the Miscellaneous Workers Union before entering politics.
