Sharon Maguire

Sharon Maguire is the director of Bridget Jones's Diary (2001), the film version of English writer Helen Fielding's book. This was her directorial debut. Fielding based the character of Bridget's friend Jude, featured in the Bridget books and films, on Maguire.
