Sharon Horgan

Sharon Horgan is a writer, actress and comedy performer.

Sharon began her comedy career when she won a BBC New Comedy award with her writing partner Dennis Kelly.

She has written and appeared in shows such as The Pilot Show, The Friday Night Project Series One only, and her acting credits include Absolute Power and Rob Brydon's Annually Retentive.

She has appeared in the feature film Imagine Me and You, and provided a voice in the animated film Valiant.

She has written for many comedy shows, including The Catherine Tate Show and Monkey Dust.

Sharon's own BBC comedy show, which she has written and stars in, entitled Pulling, is currently showing on BBC Three.

Originally from Ireland, Sharon is the sister of Shane Horgan. She now lives in London and is married with one daughter.
