Sharon Gless (born May 31, 1943 in Los Angeles, California, USA) is an actor. She is best known for her roles as Christine Cagney on Cagney & Lacey in the 1980s, and more recently as Debbie Novotny on Queer as Folk.

In 1991 she married Barney Rosenzweig, the producer of Cagney & Lacey.

In 2006 she is starring in the BBC television series, The State Within.

In 1974, Gless signed a 10-year contract with Universal Studios, just as the old "studio system" was coming to an end. By the time that contract expired, she was the last and final actor "under contract" in Hollywood.
