Dr. Sharmila Bhattacharya Ford (Jaipur, India) is a member of the Oxford Center for Hindu Studies and a medical practicioner.[1].

Along with her husband Alfred Ford, they proposed to build a "spiritual Disneyland" in the state of West Bengal. After the Communist government was unwilling to compromise on land issues. They were inspired by Srila Prabhupada [2]

She is married to a scion of the Ford dynasty, Alfred Ford [3] . They have two daughters: Amrita and Anisha.
