Shaolin Chamber of Death (Shao Lin mu ren xiang) is an early Jackie Chan film made in 1976 during what is called in Chinese Cinema 'the post Bruce Lee era'.

During this time Chan and many others imitated Bruce Lee in their films.

In the film Chan plays a Shaolin student who must train against 36 training dummies in order to become skilled enough to avenge the death of his father. In some releases the title of the film was 36 Wooden Men.

It has also had releases under the alternative titles:

  • Shaolin Wooden Men
  • Shaolin Wooden Men - Young Tiger's Revenge
  • Wooden Man

The training dummies in this film are the inspiration for the character Mokujin in the Tekken series They also make an appearance in the manga of Negima.
