Shantipur

Shantipur is a town in the district of Nadia in West Bengal,India. Famous for its handmade Tant sarees, this small town has been declared a city recently. The fort area of this city, also known as "Garh" was built by Raja Krishnachandra of Nadia. This place is also known for its famous "Ras Mela".
