Shanshanosaurus (meaning "Shanshan lizard") was a theropod dinosaur which lived during the Late Cretaceous. Its fossils were found in what is now China. It may be the same animal as Tarbosaurus. The type species, S. huoyanshanensis, was described by Dong in 1977.
