The Shango are a fictional legacy of vampires, native to the Africafrom White Wolf Game Studio's Vampire: The Masquerade books and role-playing games.

Only the Guruhi are older natives of the Ebony Kingdom than the Shango. The Shango bear a close similiarity to the Assamite Assamite Sorceror caste, even sharing their form of blood magic Dur-An-Ki. Conservative and secretive by nature, they ally closely with local Guruhi to defend the status quo.

The Shango have strong ties to the religions of Africa, verenating many spirits and gods, partiularly Yoruba.

Interestingly their is no record of the Blood Curse on the Assamites ever affecting the Shango, always having the vitae addcition Assamites as their weakness.
