Shanghai Singapore International School is a private, international school founded in 1996 in Shanghai, China.

There are three campuses:
- Minhang Campus, 2001 (Headmaster: Mr Chong Leong Chin, Vice Head: Mr David Ng)
- Minhang Preschool Campus, 2004 (Head of Division: Ms Amy Chua)
- Xuhui Campus, 2003 (Headmaster: Mr Toh Chin Leong, Vice Head: Mdm Margaret Goh)
Academics are based on education in Singapore, the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education "O" Levels, and the IB Middle Years Programme and IB Diploma Programme.
The academic year normally begins in late August or early September, and ends on 30 June every year.
The general composition of the school is about 25% Singaporeans, 25% Koreans, 25% Taiwanese and 25% Others. Each campus differs in the actual composition. The majority of the pupils in the school do not use English as their first or native language (evident from the composition).
The leadership (upper and middle management) of the school is Singaporean, and more than 50% of the teaching staff is Singaporean, with Chinese and western staff making up the rest.
The major academic subjects (English, Maths, Science, etc) are taught in English. Most the Aesthetics subjects (Music, Art, etc) are taught in Chinese. At the higher levels (grade 3 and above), western staff normally teaches only English, with Maths and Sciences taught by Singaporean teachers. The lower levels normally have all the major academic subjects taught by the same teacher.
The school has a reputation among the expatriate parents as a place where children of little or no English Language ability could achieve proficiency within 2 years. The Intensive English Programme of the school remains one of its strongest selling points.
