Shane Supple (born May 4, 1987) is an Republic of Ireland professional footballer currently playing at Ipswich Town.

Supple, a goalkeeper, was a graduate of Ipswich Town's Youth Academy.

In 2004/5 he helped to lead the Ipswich youth team to victory in the FA Youth Cup. On 13 August 2005 he made his first appearance for the Ipswich first team, when an injury to first-choice goalkeeper Lewis Price forced Supple to play for an hour of the match against Leicester City, a game in which he kept a clean sheet.

He has since retained the number one spot for Ipswich Town, making many fine saves and looks to be an excellent prospect for many years to come.

In the summer of 2006, Charlton made a few bids for the Republic of Ireland youngster, but Jim Magilton has so far rejected all these offers. Leeds also showed interest but Ipswich has informed the public that no bid has been made by the Yorkshire club.
