Shane Lynch

Shane Lynch (born Shane Eamonn Mark Stephen Lynch on July 3, 1976, in Dublin) is an Irish pop star, who first came to the public's attention as a member of the successful boyband Boyzone. He is also famous for his tirade at the MTV music awards in 1999 where he claimed rumours of Boyzone disbanding were "fucking shite".
On March 8, 1998, he married Easther Bennett of the girl group Eternal - they separated in July 2000.
More recently, Shane was in the second series of the Channel 4 reality tv show, The Games 2004, and received a gold medal. He also played Eli Knox the chairman of Harchester United in the Sky One football soap Dream Team.
His sisters, twins Keavy and Edele Lynch, found fame as members of the girl group B*Witched. In recent years he has become a Born Again Christian after being involved in a motor sports accident.
His main passion is motor racing, and he has competed at a fairly high level, coming close to winning the British GT Championship in 2003. he currently plans to contest the 2007 British Touring Car Championship [1]
He will race in the 2007 SCSA Racing championship with team Revolution [2]
