Shambhala (music festival)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Shambhala is a yearly artistic music festival held in the West Kootenays, British Columbia, Canada during August. It has six themed stages and is held on the Salmo River Ranch, a 500 acre cattle ranch outside of Nelson.
The six stages consist of: The Living Room, The Rockpit, The Fractal Forest, The Ewok Village, The Portal, and The Main Stage.
The festival lasts for 5 days and party goers partake in a positive energy with one another and share in a celebration of life, love, music, and 'Ecstasy' along the path to enlightenment. Elaborate, ornate costumes are not necessary but are highly encouraged. So is an open mind and a smile.
