Shalane Larango

Shalane Larango (born February 5, 1989) is a beauty queen from Ridgefield, Washington who has competed in the Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant and will compete in the Miss Teen USA pageant in 2007.
Larango won the Miss Washington's Outstanding Teen crown in 2005, the first teenager to win this title. She was also named Miss Photogenic and won preliminary awards for evening gown and talent. Larango competed in the first Miss America's Outstanding Teen pageant held in Orlando, Florida in August 2005, and placed second runner-up to Meghan Miller of Texas.
On November 12, 2006, Larango won the Miss Washington Teen USA 2007 title in a state pageant held in Seattle, Washington. She is the first teenager to win a state pageant in both the Miss America's Outstanding Teen and Miss Teen USA systems. Larango will represent Washington in the Miss Teen USA 2007 pageant broadcast live from an as-yet unannounced location in August 2007. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder Kendra Timm.
