Shakthi TV is the first and only Tamil television service of Sri Lanka. It broadcasts on an UHF frequency from 12 pm to 9 pm, and then the same frequency is used to broadcasts MBC's English channel - MTV. It's a member company of MBC group. It is the monopoly Tamil television in Sri Lanka.
