Shakedown! is a debut album by theSTART. Recorded in 1999, shelved in 2000 and finally released in 2001, Shakedown! is loaded with earworm-generating pop hooks, Aimee Echo's admirable vocal prowess and Jamie Miller's six-stringed slamming and smoldering circuitry. The album draws comparison to some 80's new wave influences such as Depeche Mode, Missing Persons, Duran Duran and Madonna.
