"Shake Your Love" is the second single by American singer Debbie Gibson. Taken from her Out of the Blue album, the song is written by Gibson herself and produced by Fred Zarr. It reached number four on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 singles chart at the end of 1987, and was her breakthrough single in the UK, reaching number seven in early 1988. The style of the song was very bubblegum-pop and had a 1950s-themed music video.

[edit] Criticism

Comedian Bill Hicks commented on Gibson and "Shake Your Love" in his Sane Man performance. Most notably, the quote "You've got nothing to shake! you're twelve!".
