Shahd Barmada

Shahd Barmada (Arabic: شهد برمدة) (born August 14, 1988 in Syria) is a singer who rose to popularity around the world as the runner up of Super Star 3, the pan-Arabic version of Pop Idol. She gained 47% of the total vote under Ibrahim El Hakami from Saudi Arabia.

Shahd includes Umm Kulthum as her main musical inspiration.
