Shael Riley

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Shael Riley is a Nerdcore hip hop rapper and guitarist currently residing New York City, NY.

His music first became widely known on the Internet through Overclocked Remix due to a song called Zelda, Music Of My Groin, which pokes fun, or tributes, depending on the listener's point of view, the theme music for the popular Nintendo video game The Legend of Zelda.

As time went on, Riley's music became less whimsical and more ambitious. In 2005, he created an album of completely original music called Toybox, which was published for free on the Internet and from which several tracks, particularly "Bit Pop" and "Down With Bane" became popular in Nerdcore circles. Since then, he has performed his music before live audiences and has been slated to open for more well-known Nerdcore artists such as MC Frontalot and Optimus Rhyme.

Riley also has a rap group in its early stages called Tri-Forc3, named after another Zelda trademark. The other Nerdcore artists in the group include MC Router and Beefy.
