Shadowfang is a mythical blade in the Diablo mythos. It was said to rival the power of the angelic Runeblade Azurewrath, and was the reason that the Angel Izual set out on his doomed attack on the Hellforge. However, the actual weapon in the game is considerably weaker than Azurewrath, probably because it wasn't completed. It is a unique normal two-handed sword while Azurewrath is an elite unique crystal sword.
