Shabash is an urdu magazine for children from Karachi Pakistan, issued by Think House[1],a non-profit voluntary intellectual activity group in Pakistan with the mission of nation building, Shabash[2] is recommended for kids 0f 10-17years. Shabash literally means in Urdu 'well done!,very good!,bravo!' and is a phrase to encourage and used to congratulate or praise another person for having done something well ,any good deed or achievement.In Persian means-'be joyful'. Shabash magazine seems to adhere on its described mission to promote the reading habits, writing skills and values in children of Urdu community in Pakistan and abroad.

Shabash team want it to be the leading children magazine in Pakistan by providing quality reading material to kids in Urdu keeping them intact through interesting and innovative writings and illustrations.

Shabash started its journey in July 2005 and its just 6th issue (Dec 2005 special issue on Quid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah) won 2nd prize in Pakistan by Government of Pakistan (Da’wa academy, children literature Dept. International Islamic University Islamabad).[3]

Shabash is a unique and creative magazine for kids in Urdu under editorship of Mr. Azam Minhas (started in July 2005).

  • Shabash is a non-profit kids magazine in Urdu by Think House[5] Pakistan.
  • Shabash is promoting reading and writing habits in children as well as their training according to the ideology of Pakistan and customs. Update knowledge in a light edible way seems to be the top priority.
  • This infotainment activity is also meant to provide and explore alternate modes of education of the new generation.
  • It also supplements the curriculum in accordance of the need of an individual, Pakistani nation, religion and modern age, so that a healthy future generation in all aspects is brought up.
  • An amalgam of entertainment as well as education is seen in the contents of the magazine and its website which also contains beautiful games and links etc.
  • Think House[6] Pakistan is a non-profit organization busy in intellectual activities. This forum is committed to improve the current state of the Pakistani nation through a movement of thinking about our present state.
