Part of an ad for Shasta Orange soda
The text on the can reads "Shasta California Brand Orange Soda It Hasta Be Shasta"
This advertisement is painted on the side of a building in the Portrero Hill area of San Francisco and partially obscured by a newer billboard. Next to the can is a "MiraCan" logo, below which is text that appears to read "T.M AMERICAN CAN CO."
The portion of the advertisement that is not visible has the slogan It hasta be Shasta repeated in larger text. The boy pictured has a rifle and a spacesuit, presumably to appeal to all cowboy and space exploration fantasies.
