[edit] Scott Goldblatt

Hello Sir. I am wondering if you are Scott Goldblatt the American 200m swimmer from the 2000 an 2004 Olympics. It's because under WP:USERNAME, you shouldn't name yourself after a famous person/figure unless you are the notable person himself. If you are Scott Goldblatt, then that's a privilege for wikipedia, and you may want to make a note of this on your userpage here. Also, check out Portal:Swimming. Many regards, Blnguyen | rant-line 00:45, 19 June 2006 (UTC).

There's no need to worry. I've put the {{promotional}} tag on it as it is a promotional product of the USOC.Blnguyen | rant-line 03:48, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Use of categories

Hi Scott, I would like to provide a friendly notice about Wikipedia guidelines. On the page "Wikipedia:User page" it says: "Do not put your userpage or subpages, including work-in-progress articles, into categories used by Wikipedia articles." I got to your user page from one of the category listings on your page, which are only supposed to link to articles, not user pages. Please remove the categories from your user page.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 146.6.144.208 (talk • contribs).
