Yuvashakti, originally named Nirmal Shakti Yuva Sangha by H.H. Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, from the Sanskrit words Yuva (Youth) and Shakti (Power) is composed of young people involved with the Sahaja Yoga association.

Yuvashakti do not believe in affiliation or attachment to any nationality or ethnic group, believing that there should be no boundaries between nationalities, races, or beliefs, and following a Dharmic way of life.

As well as helping organise Sahaja Yoga events such as Realise America tour, The European realisation tour, and Realise Australia, Yuvashakti is active in forums such as the World Youth Conference[1][1]and TakingITGlobal which aim at discussing global issues, and ways of solving them. An example of this is the participation in the 2000 "Civil Society & Governance Project"[2] in which Yuvashakti were "instrumental in reaching out to women from the poor communities and providing them with work".
