[edit] Not synonymous with "sexual orientation"

I intend to expand this article when I get a minute, but it's important to realize that sexual preference and sexual orientation are not the same thing. Nor is sexual preference strictly a hetero/homo thing. There are many sexual preferences to any given orientation. Iamvered 21:52, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

• Support While there may only be a difference in perception between Sexual preference and Sexual orientation (I believe differently), this article isn't long enough to be an article, and the topic is never likely to engender a full article of its own. This topic is intricately bound up in the discussion on Sexual orientation and should be more fully covered there. (There is already information there, it needs to be expanded into its own section and include the information here).—Chidom ^talk  23:17, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
