What is the difference between this new page and Transwomen(Sexual Orientation)? --Interiot 22:22, 7 November 2005 (UTC)

"Most sources from within the transgender community report that the number of lesbian transwomen roughly equals that of transwomen who prefer male partners, and many also consider themselves bisexual or asexual." This appearance might be attributed to transwomen who desire a heteronormal post-op lifestyle drop out of the "transgender community." Further one would reasonably expect reporting bias amongst ciswomen because of heteronomative societal pressure. It is probable that because of these problem it will never be possible to objectively study these proportions. My appologies for that butchering of English I just wrote; I expect someone could phrase that much more precisely. The article has not been editted to reflect these criticisms. [edit] Study

As I mentioned on the talk for transwoman (before this split off), This survey (Transgender Community Health Project, from San Francisco) might be worth mentioning, as it gives the percentages for sexual orientation of those surveyed. It'd generally be good to have specific references about the relative percentages of different orientations. --Mairi 02:06, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
