Seven Days (newspaper)

Seven Days is a newspaper that is distributed every Wednesday in Vermont. The newspaper claims a circulation of 30,000. Seven Days is published by Da Capo Publishing, Inc. It is distributed free of charge in greater Burlington, Middlebury, Montpelier, Stowe, the Mad River Valley, Rutland, St. Albans, Vermont as well as Plattsburgh, New York.

Seven Days deals with many aspects of life in Vermont. Columns in "Section A" of the newspaper often concern such topics as state government, Vermont organizations and charities, and general human interest stories. It also features local music listings, as well as music and movie reviews. The topics covered in "Section B" are calendar & art listings, local dining, classified advertisments, and personals.

Each year Seven Days asks their readers to place votes for the "Seven Daysies" which is a compilation of favorite people and places to go in the state. Categories include such things as favorite restaurant, favorite state politician, favorite place to hike, etc.
