Sevan Ross

Sevan Ross Sensei is a Zen Buddhist priest with training backgrounds in both the Soto and Rinzai traditions in the Sanbo Kyodan lineage. He is currently director of the Chicago Zen Center in Evanston, IL. He began Zen training in 1976 and has served as a priest at the Rochester Zen Center. He was ordained as a Zen priest in 1992 by Roshi Bodhin Kjolhede and has trained under other teachers such as Philip Kapleau, James Ford, and Toni Packer.
