Seta District, Gunma

Seta (勢多郡; -gun) is a district located in Gunma, Japan.
As of 2003 population data but accounting for decreases due to the mergers, the district has an estimated population of 25,393 and a density of 120 persons per km². The total area is 211.99 km².

[edit] Mergers
- On December 5, 2004, the town of Ogo and the villages of Kasukawa and Miyagi merged into the expanded city of Maebashi.
- On June 13, 2005, the villages of Niisato and Kurohone merged into the expanded city of Kiryu.
- On February 20, 2006, the villages of Akagi and Kitatachibana merged into the expanded city of Shibukawa.
