Servicio de Inteligencia Naval (Argentina)

Servicio de Inteligencia Naval (Naval Intelligence Service) is the intelligence agency of the Argentine Navy. It is part of J-2 and of the General Staff of the Navy, and its current director is Vice Admiral IM (Infantería de Marina) Enrique Salvador Olmedo
In March of 2006, Rear Admiral Pablo Rossi, then director of SIN was expelled from his position due to large scale civilian espionage operations in the southern province of Chubut.
Reports state that its main base is located on the 5th floor of the Libertad Building. Participation in the 1970's Dirty War has been judicially verified.
