Serghei Covalciuc

Serghei Covalciuc (Russian: Сергей Ковальчук, Sergey Kovalchuk) born January 20, 1982) is a Moldovan football (soccer) utility midfielder. A regular in the Moldovan senior squad, he currently plays for Spartak Moscow in the Russian Premier League. Previously he played for Tiligul Tiraspol in the break-away republic of Transnistria, having joined from in the 1999 pre-season.
A Tiraspol native, Serghei Covalciuc holds Moldovan, Transnistrian and Russian citizenships.
