Master Sergeant Thomas Kelly, alias Sarge is a fictional character from the game Doom 3.

In the beginning of the game, you meet Sarge and he gives you the mission to find a lost scientist. When you find the scientist, Hell breaks through the main portal gate in the Delta Labs. With the entire base emerged with confusion Bravo team, a small squad of Marines was sent on a mission to the Communications Tower to send a distress signal to get reinforcements from the Earth fleet. Soon, after returning to Mars City to find all the other Marines dead, Sarge orders you to meet up with the last surviving Marines of Bravo team in the alpha labs.

After the team is attacked by a group of Wraiths and all communication with them is lost, Sarge orders you to repair the EnPro generator. After repairing the generator by replacing the 2nd coolant rod (which was ruptured in the battle where most of Bravo team was wiped out), he reorders you to find the military transmission card and head to the communication facility to relay the distress signal. While attempting to send the transmission, Swann warns you that the Demons can use the ships from the fleet to bring literal Hell to Earth.

Whether you send the transmission or not, Sarge orders you to go to the Delta Labs, where you find the portal of Hell. After returning from Hell with the Soul Cube, you eventually find Swann wounded. He tells you that Sarge is no longer human and Campbell, who was also wounded, tells you to stop him.

Bertruger hits Sarge in the back with a red ball of energy, and although nothing else is seen, shadows on the wall depict a creature sprouting out of Sarge's back.

Soon after in an empty storage compartment, you find Sarge who now is the tank-body demon Sabaoth. Sabaoth has integrated Campbell's BFG into his cybernetic tank-body, and uses it against the player. After defeating Sabaoth, the player acquires Campbell's BFG.
