Sergeant (Royal Canadian Air Cadets)

The rank of cadet sergeant (C/Sgt.), is the fourth highest rank achievable for a cadet in the Royal Canadian Air Cadets. Below is a Sergeant quota vs. vacancies chart showing the relationship betweeen squadron size and the number of sergeants allowed. The rank can be given to any cadet meeting the standard. The rank of sergeant is the first rank as a senior cadet. A sergeant must have experience in cadets, completed two of the five mandatory training levels, and preferably have completed at least one familiarization summer training course. Eligible cadets for sergeant must also have held the rank of corporal for six months or more.

- 29 or fewer cadets: 2–3 sergeants
- 30–59 cadets: 4–6 sergeants
- 60–89 cadets: 6–9 sergeants
- 90–119 cadets: 8–12 sergeants
- 120–149 cadets: 10–15 sergeants
- 150–179 cadets: 12–18 sergeants
- 180–209 cadets: 14–21 sergeants
