Sequoyah High School is a public high school located in Canton, Georgia. Enrollment was 1,952 students for the class of 2006.
The school participates in Classification AAAA, Region 5. In only its seventeenth year, Sequoyah holds state titles in basketball (1994, 1996) and wrestling (1996, 1999) and also in softball (2006).

Sequoyah is arguably one of the best high schools in the state of Georgia. In only its seventeeth year, Sequoyah has gotten plenty of state and national recognition.

- Volleyball finished #6 in AAAA after losing to the eventual state champion in the Elite 8. Season highlights would also include: Cherokee County champions, Area 5-AAAA champions.
- Softball won the State AAAA Championship title on October 31, 2006, defeating Northgate High School. Season highlights would also include: Region 5-AAAA champions, beating cross-county rival, Cherokee.
- Football advanced to the State playoffs and lost to Dacula in the first round. Region runner-up East Paulding is in the semifinals at the Georgia Dome. Season highlights would also include: Beating rival Cherokee 10-3, advancing to the postseason for 6 out of the last 7 years.
- Cross country advanced to the State Championships and finished 16th in Class AAAA. Season highlights would also include: #4 in Region 5-AAAA, #9 at Last Chance Invitational, making it to the postseason for the first time since 2001.
- Wrestling was ranked preaseason #8.
