Right now there's not enough in this article to really make it "encyclopedic." It needs references to prove that the subject is notable enough for an article. For more information, please read WP:CORP. --NovaSTL 21:53, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

The reference to this project, which is a major effort by the Syrian Community of New York, is all found on www.pizmonim.org. I'm sure you can also find more references online or in books.David Betesh

Unfortunately, a single reference to the organization's own website, is not sufficient. Please see WP:AUTO. Information should not be added to any Wikipedia article unless it is linked to a source -- it is not the duty of the reader to find references, but for the person who posts the information to the article, to include proper sources at the very beginning. Unfortunately, I don't have time to argue on this or look left and right for references. If you feel like deleting this notable article, which has the potential to grow, then do so. This will only be hurting Wikipedia.David Betesh
