Septimuleius
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Septimuleius was one of the co-conspirators in the assassination of Gaius Gracchus. He was seeking the bounty for the equivalent weight of Gracchus's head in gold. After the head was severed, he removed the brain and filled the head cavity with molten lead before presenting it for his reward to the Roman Senate. He was paid in full. [1]
