[edit] Article needs to be rewritten

I'm not gonna really raise the condition of this article, I'm pretty sure experienced Wikipedians know what they need to do, so I'm not gonna waste any time here. We all know what we must do. — Mark Kim (Reply/Start Talk) 10:53, 3 July 2006 (UTC)

An IP user (me), who are of course and by definition useless and no help to Wikipedia at all, caused havoc to the article and rewrote it. OMG. 84.245.179.29, 12:23, 22 September 2006

[edit] Things I have questions about

The flagship HD 497 is open-air and designed with a more balanced frequency response, allowing them to compete with the Grado SR-60. This series is now accompanied by a collection of similar low-priced circumaural headphones (HD 415/435/465/485) and the eH series, marketed for DJ and studio monitoring use (eH 150/250/350).

Don't you guys think this is a little bit awkward? — The Evil in Everyone (U * T/R * CTD) 22:58, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

To me the whole article sounds awkward - a music geeks dream perhaps but to someone liike me full of technobabble. But looking at this section alone.

"more balanced frequency response" more balance than what, those other models, rivals, than it used to be it's not clear. Also in what way is it more balanced?

Is Grado the only possible rival? If not then why mention it.

OK, it will be refurbished. — The Evil in Everyone (U * T/R * CTD) 23:59, 7 July 2006 (UTC)

The article makes total sense, in all fields of consumer A/V. There is nothing in the article to make it in anyway bias. The level of technological understanding is basic, and as such uses basic terms and words to describe primary a/v principals. Anybody with dispute needs to revisit their high school.

Response from The Evil in Everyone (U * T/R * CTD) 02:45, 16 July 2006 (UTC)—Rebuttal to that—The sentence was already refurbished to reflect a broader NPOV.

The article has now beed edited to such an extent it is not even of use. The information is lacking, and the audio principals for which the technology is tighly based have been totally removed. Nearly all the information in some way lacks vital sub information which controls the overall level and extent of the audiology in the field conext. Shame.

Response from Vesther (U * T/R * CTD) 17:00, 22 July 2006 (UTC)—That is why I'm encouraging you to fix the article as much as you can so that it can reflect a broader NPOV. In fact, Wikipedia cannot be perfect unless you "buff-up" the article a bit, but you should always keep it NPOV of course.

[edit] Article Issues

Why is there so much information about specific products and pricing, and not so much about the company? Is this an article about Sennheiser or its products? RCHM 19:08, 26 July 2006 (UTC)

Response from Vesther (U * T/R * CTD) 21:53, 26 July 2006 (UTC)—Apparently the article was started by someone who had little or no information about the company. Since then, a broader NPOV had to be achieved, and that is why the article might look vague to you. You can actually help Wikipedia by re-tuning the article to make it look the way you want it.

I wasn't trying to be facetious or anything, just figured I'd test the waters here before editing. Most other technical company articles may focus on one or two key products, but not to this detailRCHM 04:56, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
