Sensory Motor Rhythm (SMR) is 12-15 Hz rhythm seen in EEG associated with inhibition of motor activity. It is thought by some that people with ADHD, epilepsy, and autism may benefit from an increase in SMR activity via biofeedback/neurofeedback.
