Selam Ahderom

Dr. Selam Ahderom (born in 1970 in Ethiopia) is a lecturer in Electrical Engineering focusing on Optical Signal Processing at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda.

He graduated summa cum laude from University of Connecticut in Electrical Engineering. He obtaned his Ph.D. in Communication Engineering from Edith Cowan University in Perth, Australia. He is a member of the Eta Kappa Nu Honor Society.

He is also a member of the Bahá'í Faith's Continental Board of Counsellors for Africa.
