Svetlana "Seka" Aleksić (Cyrillic: Светлана "Сека" Алексић) (born April 23, 1981 in Zvornik, Bosnia-Herzegovina, then Yugoslavia) is a turbo folk singer popular in the ex-Yugoslavian countries

Aleksić was born to Bosniak mother Ibrima and Serb father Milorad Aleksić. She has a younger brother, Nedžad [1]. Her parents later divorced, she started living with her mother. When the Bosnian War broke out, Seka and her family moved to Banja Koviljača, Serbia and later Šabac. She started singing Ceca's songs in cafés before she went famous. Seka also has an important role in the Serbian movie "We Are Not Angels 3." The role first went to Croatian singer Severina but she dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. She currently resides in Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia together with her fiancé, manager/producer Zoran Kovačević and their Chihuahua Cezar.
