I am an anthropologist, writer, and lecturer on Social Research Methods, especially in Ethnography and related fields.

My particular interests in Wikipedia are on Heathenry, Sacred Sites, Shamanism and Animism and Contemporary paganisms. I thoroughly dislike the word 'neopaganism' for a good number of reasons. I'll create something on Sacred Sites later: it's in use as a general term for pre-christian sites in Britain, and sites honoured by Indigenous people elsewhere. There's a fair number of references to draw on.

My webpages for the Sacred Sites Project are at http://www.sacredsites.org.uk.
